Employer is seeking a Floor Tech for their carpet and floor cleaning company. The Floor Tech will be responsible for the cleanliness and appearance of floors in various settings. The Floor Tech should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Employer offers a competitive pay. Pay is based on experience. Experience with the following is highly preferred, but employer is willing to train the right candidate:
- Tile and Grout cleaning
- Carpet cleaning/repair
- Water extraction
- Tile and Grout Sealing and colouring
- Fabric Protection for upholstery and carpets
- Stone cleaning and treatment
- Waxing and stripping
- Operating truck mounts
- dry clean carpets/rugs and upholstery
Requirements:
- 2-3 years related experience preferred
- Valid driver license, required to travel to client's locations
- Customer service skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and a team player
- Ability to handle correspondence in both English and Spanish a plus
- Employer performs background check
Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their cleaning needs
- Assess the state of the floors and carpets that need to be cleaned
- Applying stain and pre-cleaning treatments to the carpets and floors
- Report any issues or concerns to Lead Floor Tech
- Carpet cleaning/repair
- Drying vent cleaning
- Water extraction
- Maintenance and repair of equipment
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Lead Floor Tech or management
